How many years have you been taking dance? This is my 10th year of dance
How many hours do you train per week? 5.5 hours – it depends
What is your favorite style of dance and why?
I love jazz because it’s fun and upbeat, and I have a great time doing facials and tricks.
Do you attend dance competitions and conventions? Yes
How many do you attend each year?
My studio is required to do 3-4, but I like doing lots of extra competitions until around the end of May or early June.
What is your favorite dance you are performing this year?
It’s a duet with my friend Emma called “Hard Knock Life”
What is your favorite skill to perform?
things with my legs: high kicks, leaps, and ponches
Who inspires you? Sophia Lucia, she amazing!
If you could work with any choreographer, who would it be?
Anyone from Mather Dance Company, the teachers are great choreographers and dancers!
What is your favorite dance TV show?
It’s not really a show, but I love watching Broadway! The moves are so fun and entertaining!
What is your favorite dancewear?
I think all dancewear lines are unique in their on ways, but I really like Discount Dance because it looks cute and it’s easy to move in.
What is your favorite dance moment?
This year, at Hall of Fame Dance Challenge I won a $200 scholarship. I was proud of myself and how far I had come!
If you could choreograph a dance for your studio what song and style of dance would you choose?
I would choose A Little Party Never Killed Nobody and it would be a jazz.
In her own words… I would like to show people that if I can do it, they can do it. If you really have a passion for something, you should believe in yourself and try your hardest, and you will always be a winner.
